Explaining my lack of activity
Hello whoever is reading this!
So you're probably wondering what is with my lack of activity on here relating to uploading artwork?
Well, the most obvious reason is that I am doing my college classes right now, but I have other reasons too.
I am currently working on an animation for the McDonaldland Reanimated Collab. A reanimated collab in which multiple people recreate a McDonald's commercial from the early 1970's. I am working hard on it and I hope to have it finished by the end of this month or some time in the beginning of November.
Since we are on the topic of more long term projects, I want to tell you all about my video game review web series I have in production called Master Gamer. I have been working on episode 1 for it for a while, this will be a second draft of it with the hope that this one is good enough to be uploaded to youtube. I just got done with the writing of the episode, and now I am onto the voice over. Unlike my animation, I don't know when I will get the whole video done and uploaded to youtube.
I will be uploading some small things to my deviantart account (and my instagram account) relating to artwork that I worked on for my DART 107 class at my college. I'm hoping to upload those sometime this weekend.
One of my new year's resolutions for this year was to focus more on my interest in video work and starting up a youtube channel. If you notice any long distances between when I was and was not online, that's because I have decided to spend more of my time working on my first video project for my upcoming youtube channel, the first episode of a video game review series I have been working on and off with called Master Gamer.
With the self-quarantine thing, I want to take FULL ADVANTAGE of the extra time alloted to me to work on this episode after my homework as been completed. At the time of me writing this journal, I am almost done with my third draft of the script. All I need to do is finish one segment and have the script as a whole gone over by one of my parents to see if I am ready to go to the next step of filming and voice over.
I have also been thinking of posting my videos alongside with Youtube on other sites such as Newgrounds, Dailymotion and VidLii. Considering the things Youtube and the other mainstream social media sites are going through, I should start looking for other sources to display my work.
I will be here with more information as this first video project develops.
